Physical Activity Questionnaire for Older Children (PAQ-C)¶

The Physical Activity Questionnaire for Children (PAQ-C) seeks information on children's participation in vigorous activities over the last 7 days. A checklist is used to determine if a child engages in physical activity during a given time period, such as the weekend or a weekday. No information is collected in regards to duration of participation, moderate or low intensity activities, or non-organized activities. An interviewer-administered 7-d recall questionnaire asks students to recall the time they spent sleeping, in moderate-intensity activities, and hard and very hard activities on each day of the previous week.

Domains Assessed: Physical

Note: The PAQ-C is administered to participants age 8-14.
